If this were my last photo......

Hanging high in the air, heavy rain with strong wind, lightning striking all around, and the cable car was terribly shaking in all directions, up and down, left and right…

Today, I still couldn’t get rid of these scenes which I experienced on the day after my convocation. It really felt like being between life and death. Last Friday, my family and I went for a one day trip to Genting Highlands. On our way returning to bus terminal by cable car, we had experienced the worst thing in our life. The cable cars were forced to stop due to the bad weather condition and we were all stuck half way in the air. The situation got even worse and scary when the cable car was shaking frequently. Trust me, every second seemed to tick very slowly. None of us inside the cable car spoke much. It was a really bad situation and feeling. All we could do were praying hard for the best. After experiencing a few shakes inside, I took off my lens cover.

“How could you still take photos at this moment?” My sister who felt dizzy questioned me.

“I just wanna have some distraction.” I told her.

Silence kept remained except for my shutter sounds. Within that 15-20mins, I had a lot of thoughts. I prayed to God that I don’t wanna to die so soon because I haven’t made a great achievement in my life yet. I realized even more on how precious our life is, and I thought back on the people and things I missed. Fortunately, I am still alive today to write this post. So, live your life like it was your last day! Spend time on the things and people you love. Never ever live in regret.

A shot I took when we were trapped inside the cable cars.

An Art Heaven - Poco Homemade

On a random Sunday afternoon, Adelyn and I went to Poco Homemade located at Bangsar. Thanks a lot to Cinda for the recommendation. We both really fell in love with this cafe because it is like an heaven of art to us. The environment is really awesome and comfortable to have a cup of drink on lazy weekends. The amazing thing is that we are allowed to take photos in the cafe, I was almost crazy along with my 50mm lens without flash, shooting on the menu (I personally love the idea), the decorations, the products, the frames on the wall and many more good pieces of art there. I am amazed with the concept of the cafe, but I am more interested with the story behind the business.

p.s.: I forgot to take the photos of the food because we were hungry. Anyway the food is nice! :)

A or B?

A

B

With the ambient light coming through the window on my left, I shot myself inside a mirror. I have two different compositions over here, tell me which one you prefer, A (above) or B (bottom)? I would tell you mine :)
